- Marinate the fish head with salt and turmeric.Take a pan add some oil and fry the fish head properly. Then fry the potato also..
- Take the same pan and remove extra oil. We will need 4tbs mustard oil. Add bay leaf, cloves, black pepper and stir it for 1min.
- Add chopped onion and cook it until it turn golden. After this add ginger paste, garlic paste and stir it until the raw smell goes off..
- Add tomato to it and cook it till tomato is soften. Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin seed powder, coriander seed powder, garam masala, kasuri methi and cook it for 3-4 mins..
- Break the fried fish and add to the prepared gravy. Cook it for another 1min..
- Add potato to it and cook it for another 1min. Stir it and add water if needed..
- Then add the cooked mung dal to it and stir it well. Add 1 cup of warm water and cook it for 2 mins in low flame..
- After this switch off the gas. Sprinkle some garam masala on top and mix it well..
